Barry has been serving his community going back to childhood when he worked as a page in the Oklahoma State Senate. We need Barry’s experience and steady hand on the City Council.

A long-time resident and chair of the Planning Commission, Barry knows Edmond like the back of his hand. For 17 years, he’s helped guide our city and protect what makes us special. Barry is always willing to listen, work hard and do the right thing for our city, neighborhoods and residents.

In addition to his service on the Planning Commission, Barry is a self-employed businessman and consultant to rural telecommunications companies throughout the state. He knows what it takes to run a business, and grow jobs and opportunity.

Deep Roots

Barry is a born and bred Oklahoman who has lived in Edmond for more than 30 years. Barry is happily married. He loves Edmond for the strength of the community and the high quality of life.

As a long-time resident and member of the planning commission, Barry has worked hard to improve our city’s quality of life. He views it as a privilege to further apply his experience and skills to the issues so important to us all:
